Orlando in June
In June, the weather is almost invariably hot and humid, and can get very wet. The average maximum daytime temperature in Orlando is as high as 32°C (90°F) whereas the average minimum temperature drops down to 22°C (71°F).
There are fair chances of rain compared to the preceding months, as rainy season is well under way. The average monthly precipitation is around 170 mm so there is a chance of rain for about 21 days of the month. An umbrella or waterproof coat will therefore be completely necessary. Many of the theme parks sell plastic ponchos if you want a souvenir. Of course this makes it the perfect weather for visiting one of Orlando’s many water parks as you won’t notice the difference.
There are around 11 hours of sunshine per day during June and the humidity is fairly high. It is a great time to go to Orlando, but be sure to drink lots of fluids to avoid getting dehydrated. This is particularly necessary if you’re at the parks as it’s getting busier so you’ll be waiting in queues for longer. Hand-held fans which spray water are a great means of cooling down.
Orlando, a city in central Florida, is home to more than a dozen theme parks. Chief among its claims to fame is Walt Disney World, comprised of parks like the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as water parks. Another major destination, Universal Orlando, offers Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straddling both.
